What brands do you use?

Each of our stylists has their own personal brand favorites, but we check each artists kit to ensure the professional quality. If you have a brand or product preference, please feel free to bring it to your appointment for our artist to use.

How long will my appointment last?

Take note on our services and booking pages the amount of time listed for services. This is the maximum amount of time services will take, and our stylists are trained to complete services in that amount of time or less.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?

We understand life happens and you may need to cancel an appointment. We ask that you do so no later than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment at no penalty. If an appointment is within 48 hours the full cost of services will be retained by the company. If an appointment is rescheduled within 24 hours of the appointment, an additional fee may apply. Please understand our stylists rely on having confirmed appointments and can miss out on business if appointments are canceled at the last minute.

How do I prepare for an appointment?

Depending on what services you are requesting, you may need damp hair, (for blowouts), or clean dry hair, (for updo styling). A clean, makeup-free face for makeup applications is heavily suggested but not mandatory. Picking an open space in your home or office with natural light and easy access to electricity for appointments is ideal. The artist will conduct a brief consultation with you (unless you have our VIP service, which includes a 15-minute custom consultation) and use our Look Book images as a starting off point. Any additional images you may have for looks are useful and can speed up the process.

Can I choose/request a certain artist?

We understand how important it is to have a stylist you love, but at this time we cannot accept specific stylist requests. Rest assured all of our talented stylists can provide you with the same level of high-quality styling and services.

How do you verify stylists who work for Beauty On Demand?

All stylists are “Beauty on Demand-certified.” This means they are screened and interviewed by us. We do a comprehensive overview of their portfolio and kit, as well as a practical interview. In addition to the interviewing process, we also conduct background checks on all stylists.

I’m getting married! Can I use Beauty On Demand for my wedding day?

Congrats! We’d love to service you and your bridal party. We take weddings seriously and would love to see you at our sister company, Beautiful Brides Philly, where we’ll handle all of your bridal beauty needs.

Is gratuity included?

Gratuity is not included in service offerings, but we ask that you tip your stylists just as you would at a hair salon or spa. A 20% gratuity is the industry standard, and we ask you provide this to your stylist in cash only.

Can I book a party for multiple people?

Yes – each stylist can handle up to six services per location. If your party exceeds this six service limit, please contact us direct for custom service offerings as additional stylists may be needed. A service is defined as either one hair styling service or one makeup application.

Is there a discount for multiple people?

For those seeking six or more services per appointment, please contact us for a custom quote. All other services are a la carte and are not discounted.
